You can only play this minigame once per week and must have gained at least 1 Quest Point or 100,000 experience. Checking your Tears of Guthix quest log will tell you how long you have left until you can play again. Note: You can now speak to Juna to enable a notification message that appears, once a day, on login, if you are eligible to visit the Tears.
To start, make sure you have both hands free and then talk to Juna at the entrance to the Tears of Guthix. She'll ask you to tell her a story about your adventures, and after doing so she'll allow you to enter the cave. Note: There is a "Right Clisck Story" option that will speed this process up.
Playing the Game:
The aim of the game is to collect as many blue tears as possible from the blue streams on the walls and avoid collecting green tears from the green streams as these will reduce the number of blue tears you've collected. You have a limited amount of time in the cave which depends on the number of Quest Points you have, with each point equalling one second of time in the cave.
Once your time has expired, you'll automatically leave the cave and drink from the bowl to receive an amount of experience in your lowest skill based upon the number of blue tears you've collected and the level of your the skill. The higher the number of tears collected and level of the skill, the more experience you'll earn.
If you've completed The Lost Tribe, you can unlock a shortcut into the Lumbridge Swamp Caves from the Lumbridge Castle cellar which allows you to reach the Tears of Guthix much faster. To do so, you'll need to mine the hole into the cellar dungeon from the swamp dungeon side and from then on you'll be able to use the shortcut.
