When fighting them, it may be a good idea to position yourself so that the toucan has a surface below it, in order to receive a drop. Both these and the Pernicious parrot could be good choices for feather collectors. Good food (lobsters or better) is advised, as this monster can regularly hit over 100. The tenacious toucan is the third-lowest levelled monster that drops a level 3 Clue scroll, behind only level 56 Cyclopes and level 69 Aviansies.
