Strategies:
Ripper dinosaurs require 114 Slayer to injure.
After 6 auto-attacks, a Ripper dinosaur will use its Special attack - enacting a bleed that will initially cause 300 damage roughly every 2 seconds. This damage will increase as time continues and will last until the monster is killed or the effect is cleared by using Freedom.
Use of binding abilities, Weapon poison, and Dreadnips will help make these monsters easier to kill. Attacking the ones closest to the far Eastern stairs at the ruins is advised, since it is possible to safe spot here. See below for location, click image for in-game view.
Note: Ripper dinosaurs can attack as far away as 7 tiles! Make sure you stand 1 square away from the top of the bottom set of stairs, otherwise the Ripper dinosaur will still be able to hit you. Be sure to use Melee protection Prayer/Curse while luring.
