After 10 auto-attacks, a Devil's snare will use its Special attack - the Vile bloom will grab you with a tendril and will rapidly damage you (200-800 Life points per hit) while healing itself. In order to break free, you will need to damage the Devil's snare 10,000; this can be quickly done by using Tuska's Wrath, if on Slayer task.
If you have at least 70 Farming, it is possible to spawn your own Devil's snare by planting a Devil's snare seed in the Fertile soil patch North of the Overgrown idols on the Eastern side of Anachronia. Killing this Devil's snare will earn Farming experience, increased Slayer experience, and increase your chances of obtaining more vile seeds.
