Below is the text you can read from within the book.
I am beginning to have my doubts as to Sakirth's reliability. Since striking down the Lucien User, he has taken on what appears (from my limited inquiries) to be that creature's overwhelming arrogance. This may be nothing, as I have not had the wit to ask him many questions in my cursed state. He may always have been abrasive, but only now can it register with me.

In any case I feel that we need to discard the Mirror and dispose of the Dactyl test-subject immediately. Not only is Tarshak and Sakirth's posturing setting my teeth on edge, but it cannot be long before the effects of the Mirror are felt. Unlike the others, I took some time to examine the island we found the False User upon and noted the Mirror had been performing its function randomly. Could this be a side-effect of drawing power from a False User? Could the Mirror be broken? Can such an item be broken?

The mirror has been left untended since the beginning of this world. What need did the Elder Gods have of such a device once they had all the rocks, seas and air that they wanted? Could it be that the item was disposable in nature and never intended to work after this initial phase, like throwing away a brush once it is clogged with paint. If such a thing is possible, does this mean the other items can be broken or ceases to function if they fulfil the task to which they are allotted? If so, can the Stone be broken thus? I will need to swallow my pride and consult with some learned Dactyl on this. Disposing of Tarshak in such a way that his death cannot tie back to me is a must in that case.
