Requirements:
None.
Where Found:
It can be looted from a Kingly impling or bought from another player.
Item Uses:
It is worn for strictly decorative purposes.
Notes:
Although it can be traded, it cannot be lent. The crown is the most expensive part of the set by far, mainly because it is in high demand and the crown is more aesthetically pleasing than the other components of the royal set. The royal crown is not the same crown that the Kingly Impling wears, even though it is based on the Kingly impling's crown. Because of the lower alchemy price, you will more easily lose this crown on death than, for example, dragon armour or weapons, although the crown's price on the Grand Exchange is much higher. The market value of the crown started to decrease for the first time on 19 July 2010. This was due to the fact that Kingly Implings were being easily captured commonly in the newly introduced Al Kharid resource dungeon. When a player logs out and in while wearing the royal crown, it appears to sink into the back of a player's hair making it look slightly like a tiara. This has yet to be fixed by Jagex, but by removing it and re-equipping it goes back to normal.
