Strategies:
Cadarn magus are powerful mages from the Cadarn clan who cannot be killed, but are instead bested, after which they will drop items and provide experience.
These mages are able to use Magic abilities, but their adrenaline is limited to 50% which means they can use only basic and threshold abilities. However, they are still more than capable of dealing high and rapid damage with these as it doesn't take them long to charge up thresholds and it is highly recommended to use your best Ranged equipment and use the Elven grimoire in the nearby Staff shop to boost your Ranged level in order to kill them quickly and limit damage.
Note that if the Voice of Seren is active in the Cadarn Sector then you will receive bonus experience after besting a guard.
