Mourners are members of the Deathguard disguised as plague healers who have quarantined West Ardougne by faking the plague in order to use its citizens as slaves.
They shouldn't pose much of a threat to most players, but you should be aware that if you wield a weapon in the Mourner HQ, then the Mourners will become aggressive and attack you all at once.
