Without Deb and Gene here to help us carry RuneHQ forward, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the RuneHQ website at the end of 2026.

I'll never forget RuneHQ. As a kid back in 2006 at the age of 11, I didn't have a lot of guidance for anything in the game besides my older brother who played with me. But I can tell you that we both got all of our info from RuneHQ and never would've achieved half of the things we did without it. Thank you for all the help and the memories this website has had a major part in developing.

Back in the day, I used this site to finish my first big quest, Monkey Madness 1. I'll never forget this place, and it will always have a special place in my career in this game. You will be missed. I even used my old username. Much love.

Just like thousands of other people, I have used RuneHQ numerous times to look up information I couldn't find anywhere else. Before the wiki existed, this website was the place to go. I want to say thank you for creating this website. So many people like me have come by and were helped, sometimes for small problems, sometimes for entire quest guides. You were a pillar of the old Runescape world!

RUNEHQ had it all! Quests, tips, and guides. When loading runescape I would always have Runehq ready. Growing up I never really thought or thanked the creators and I apologize. Without this I wouldnt have done half of what I completed. Sorry I didnt say this sooner, but THANK YOU! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. nothing truly dies if we do our part to remember what you gave us.

A Farewell to Our Community

To our visitors, members, guide writers, donors, moderators, staff, and friends: thank you for every question answered, every guide improved, every discussion shared, and every friendship formed.

RuneHQ was more than a website. It was a community, and that was always because of you.

Although the site is closing, the RuneHQ Discord and clan will continue, giving the community a place to stay connected and carry on the friendships built here.

It's not goodbye, just a new chapter.
