Without Deb and Gene here to help us carry RuneHQ forward, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the RuneHQ website at the end of 2026.

RuneHQ was one of the first sites I used for guides and general info back in 2008, over the years I started using the Wiki more often, but I will always look back to the fond memories of RuneHQ, you shall be missed!

I have been using RuneHQ since my friend showed me it around early 2004?
My mother and I played runescape together and we always used RuneHQ for our info and the quest guides where second to none!
I am saddened after all these years the site will be discontinued.
I have many memories of using this website.
I wish everyone the best!

I'll never forget RuneHQ. As a kid back in 2006 at the age of 11, I didn't have a lot of guidance for anything in the game besides my older brother who played with me. But I can tell you that we both got all of our info from RuneHQ and never would've achieved half of the things we did without it. Thank you for all the help and the memories this website has had a major part in developing.

I wouldn’t have been able to do any quests back in the day if it wasn’t for runehq. Anytime one of my friends had trouble with a quest i’d tell em to check runehq, like it was the obvious thing to do! Runehq will always be synonymous with runescape to me. Will always be near and dear to me.

To our visitors, members, guide writers, donors, moderators, staff, and friends: thank you for every question answered, every guide improved, every discussion shared, and every friendship formed.

RuneHQ was more than a website. It was a community, and that was always because of you.

Although the site is closing, the RuneHQ Discord and clan will continue, giving the community a place to stay connected and carry on the friendships built here.

It's not goodbye, just a new chapter.
