In Loving Memory

Dear Team,

Although I haven't played RuneScape since 2012, that was also pretty much the last year when the majority of the Lithuanian Clan Wars community decided to say farewell to RuneScape.

However, seeing the post about RuneHQ saying farewell hit quite differently.

For so many years, you guided the majority of us towards achieving what was possible in the game without unnecessary hassle. In fact, your guides saved us so much time that, if we were to add it all up, it would probably amount to several lifetimes — and quite possibly much more!

Generations of RuneScape players are truly grateful for everything you have done, and we wish you all the very best in whatever comes next.

Thank you!

P.S. Visit Lithuania — once a great RuneScape nation! :)

I remember printing every quest guide as a kid and putting it into a 3 ring binder so I could do all my quests. Once everything was printed my mom yelled at me for using all her paper. Good memories growing up with this website. RIP and thank you for the memories

I remember all the guides I needed to use over the years, all real helpful to a lost adventurer in Gielinor. Like when I finally completed a mourning's end part 2, it was all thanks to RuneHQ; I would've never been able to finish it myself, lol. OH! and just searching around all over the site for info about RuneScape made me the most popular kid in 4th grade from my knowledge of RuneScape. I never expected seeing RuneHQ shut down making me choke up, with tears; like seeing an old friend finally laid to rest. Thanks for all the guides and best wishes to all of your futures!

used runehq as a kid makes me sad to see this, you guys are great and thank you for everything.

I used to use RuneHQ all the time when I was a kid for years and years i'd come and get quest help, use the calculators or just to get random information. I started using this site when I was around 9 years old in 2005 im 30 now I still always think about how this site was a big part of my childhood. Thanks for all the memories RuneHQ you were always the GOAT.

Farewell RuneHQ!

Had a lot of good memories at RuneHQ.
Thoroughly enjoyed (with Kai) creating Minecraft (vanilla/modded/tekkit) servers for any RHQ member to join.
Also loved helping out by creating content/quest guides/maps for OSRS & RS3.
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly...

Man.... this hits hard. RuneHQ was there for us all long before Quest Helper was even an idea. The countless adventurers this site helped will certainly hold this site in the same special regard as I do.

Thank you for being such a great help in my childhood and may your future ventures bring great things.

You guys were a big part of my RuneScape life, while I was growing up. I would have never been able to do Monkey Madness without you guys. Thanks for all the help that you guys provided. Best wishes!

thank you
