A Tribute and Farewell

In Loving Memory

Celebrating 23 years of RuneHQ history
and the community that made it special.

More than a website: a home for adventurers, a library of shared knowledge, and friendships that reached far beyond the game.

A Tribute To

Deb & Gene

The hearts behind RuneHQ

Deb and Gene helped shape RuneHQ into a place where adventurers could learn, share, and belong. We honor their vision, dedication, kindness, and generosity, and the community built around those values.

Deb & Gene

“More than a website, RuneHQ was a home—and at its heart were two extraordinary people.”

Without Deb and Gene here to help us carry RuneHQ forward, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the RuneHQ website at the end of 2026.

Thanks for the help over the years. Whether it was from planning out my skill grind, or getting unstuck on a quest.

Sad to see a great resource retire from the internet.

Runehq helped my foster brothers and myself with friends growing up, through many accounts. Thank you for our childhood in a way, always in the communities hearts

RuneHQ was my go-to for RuneScape guides back in the mid 2000's. I have fond memories from my childhood, of coming home from school every day, and loading up RuneScape and RuneHQ, ready to tackle a new quest until I finally achieved my Quest Cape. I never would have finished the likes of Monkey Madness, or Mourning's End without RuneHQ and the hardworking people that maintained and contributed to it. Thank you to Deb and Gene, and everyone else involved with RuneHQ. <3
