Without Deb and Gene here to help us carry RuneHQ forward, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the RuneHQ website at the end of 2026.

For years, whenever a new quest dropped or a puzzle felt impossible, RuneHQ was the absolute first place I went. The detailed guides and step-by-step breakdowns didn't just save me countless hours—they made tackling the game’s toughest content genuinely fun.

Beyond helping my own journey, RuneHQ was the site I recommended to every single friend who played. Whenever someone got stuck, sharing RuneHQ link after link became second nature because I always knew it was the best help available.

I also want to take a moment to honor the memory of Deb and Gene. Their contributions, warmth, and dedication played such a foundational role in building and guiding this community, and their absence is deeply felt. Rest in peace—they will never be forgotten.

Thank you to every guide writer, staff member, and player who put time and heart into making RuneHQ what it was. You made a massive impact on my RuneScape journey and the journeys of so many others. Wishing everyone in the community all the best!

I started the game in 2008, used RuneHQ for all my quest guide needs and remember using the max hit calculator constantly.
Although I haven't been here much since probably 2010 or so, RuneHQ is definitely a fond memory of mine as a growing Runescaper and I will always remember the help it provided during my childhood years of playing.

To our visitors, members, guide writers, donors, moderators, staff, and friends: thank you for every question answered, every guide improved, every discussion shared, and every friendship formed.

RuneHQ was more than a website. It was a community, and that was always because of you.

Although the site is closing, the RuneHQ Discord and clan will continue, giving the community a place to stay connected and carry on the friendships built here.

It's not goodbye, just a new chapter.
