In Loving Memory

This website has been apart of my life for a huge portion of my childhood and I'm currently 30. I've spent countless hours staying up late at night questing and just learning ingeneral about the game I've grown up playing.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing us with a wonderful community and a plethora of knowledge.

Rest in paradise ❤️

Your presence will always be in my heart. This website likely has had the #1 visits on my search history even to this day.

I spent more nights in RuneHQ than I did doing homework. So many memories and having friends over for gaming nights. This site helped raise an entire generation. Let’s not be sad that an era has ended, but be happy that we experienced it.

Ive played RS on and off from when I was 12 years old and this was always the website I came back to get help along the way the guides and everything always helped me so much very sad to see this go :(

Before I became staff, I used this site for years to complete quests and calculate stuff for potions. It was a major part of my life. Later, I had the opportunity to become part of the community. This site has been an amazing part of my life. May RHQ rest in peace

I remember using this amazing website for all my quests back in the days. RuneHQ was the Quest helper. I will keep the memories and nostalgia of this amazing website. RIP RuneHQ

RuneHQ was one of the first sites I used for guides and general info back in 2008, over the years I started using the Wiki more often, but I will always look back to the fond memories of RuneHQ, you shall be missed!

I’ve been an off and on OSRS player for years and in all honesty I forgot about this site until I saw that it was closing and I got major nostalgia. From playing mostly during the mid to late 2000’s sites like this were how I completed quests and gained more knowledge about the game. It’s sad to see a resource from my youth disappear but I would like to express my thanks to those that helped shape my early RS days.

I have been considering picking up the game again and now I think I will do that I can enjoy community sites like this before they’re all gone for good.

Wow, what a blast from the past. Looking back, I can honestly say that when I needed you the most, you were there for me. I’ll forever be grateful for everything this site has done for me. Thank you for being there when it mattered most.

Runehq was what I used back in the day to complete quests, didn't know how to read english and runehq became the site that taught me how to read and write in english via quests I completed, I'll forever remember the good memories.

Thanks Runehq, thank you deb and gene.
