I was wondering if people buy steel bars? Just because if they don't i wont bother buying the coal need to make them i have a lot of iron ore i just need the coal. I know there expensive but yeah just looking for advice i need to make money.

Yes. Steel bars are used a lot for cannonballs.
Idk about the currect G.E prices, but I think you can squeeze some cash out of it.
Another great way of making cash is smithing cannonballs yourself. It is very slow, but it is afk-able and decent money.

Of course Steel Bars sell for the reason Zaros stated. Any form of raw or processed materials should always be able to be sold.

Current steel bar prices are steady around 860.
Cannonballs are at 300 (x4 per bar = 1200)
So as you can see profit is available at each stage seeing as how you have iron ore already.
