What I think would be better, instead of making it afkable but have the emote thing take longer than any usual agility obstacle, and give less exp, discouraging afk Agility but still a viable method

Yeah something like that could work, honestly as long as it gives small amounts of exp and is generally not a very efficient way of training agility then it should work.

No support at all, sorry. You need to put in effort in order to get results, one day you will have to learn this, why not put it in on Runescape.
Also, look at what Runespan has done to the once prestigious RC Cape. Making this skill afk-able will do nothing to help Runescape at all, but, making a minigame that requires attention that is also fun is what this game needs.

I support you! runescap is full of real life lessons an learning exp, people just need to find some of them. y'know one of ym fav bits... runescape teaches budgeting and saving skills with money.

Well there is the Brimhaven Arena... But the Exp is kind of poor and the Tickets dont really make up for it IMHO.

I wouldn't really say the Brimhaven Arena is fun... :P

I saw the way how Runespan pretty much killed the Runecrafting skill for what it is, I don't want to see them do the same for Agility. I worked for it because I actually care about the skill. Besides, all you need is 77 agility for all quests, and if you want to get completionist/max cape you should at least be passionate towards skilling.

If an AFK-Agility Course were to be made, it should not have higher experience rates than what you could get from normal Agility, preferred less. If that would be the case, then yes, I'd love the AFK-Agility Course.

For me AFK-can be a lot. Not considering it actually stands for 'away from keyboard' - personally I use a lot of time chatting (and foruming) so while I do pay full attention to RuneScape, it might be hard for me to pay full attention to the Agility Course. Now, people putting their character in Bandit Camp with Barrows armour and only click a few times during several hours - that would be something I couldn't support.

The stance of AFK is really a principle-case, so to speak.

when people think of afk type skills they mean skills that req little to no effort... like runespan runecrafting ebfore the update. Then there's the bandits which are almost litteraly afk fights

I don't see why not, there's so many other skills that can be, or ones with little to no effort involved, such as fishing. I think it would be a good idea and would probably make it a bit less boring than having to actively click on the same cycle over and over.

so you find the game more entertaining to do nothing at all then to actually play it?

Some skills are easier to train without as much intensity than others. Unfortunately, agility is one of those more intense skills, just how it runs. Making it AFKable isn't a viable solution.

It's sad that along with agility's intensity it isn't very rewarding. I'd rather have use than afkability from a skill.

Agility can be really repetitive beginning to end (in my opinion). I think it would be nice if you could do more things with the skill. It's not often used.

As for AFKing the skill, no thanks. I'd like to do it myself if anything.

Since I hate agility I would love to see this. Maybe they could introduce a 'run X' option or set a limit to it. That way you aren't doing the whole course on repeat, just a certain part of it. And if you fail you would need to reclick to get back going.

They said in the latest RS podcast that agility training is something they want to work on and improve. They also want to change a few more things about it, such as how it relates to run energy and how it restores.
