You don't need to bring any items, the eggsterminator is enough (You might need Teleport Runes and tabs if you don't have the Lodestones activated)
So you start the Easter event by talking to Chocatrice or the Evil Chicken in Varrock's square, they'll tell you that you have to search for 5 eggs around the land of Runescape by yourself or with friends.
The locations of the eggs change every two hours.
They'll give you an item called the 'Eggsterminator' and if you support the Chocatrice you will fire marshmallows or if you support the evil chicken you have an option called scotch-eggs.

Rewards
You have to crack the eggs and splatter the chicks and when you do that you'll get chocotreats (if you support the Chocatrice) or evil drumsticks (if you support the Evil Chicken) and after you get 5 you get a lamp that grants you the skill's number * 10 (that's only if you're a member - Just like a normal lamp from random events) .
You can get the other rewards by:
1) trading the Chocotrice 3 chocolate treats for an item called "Chocolate egg on facemask".

130 downloads3) Finding 5 Eggs in 3 hunts gives you an ability to get the eggsterminator for a permanent time (the Eggsterminator melts after the event is over if you didn't do this step)
~Note: It's also possible to eat chocotreats and the evil drumsticks they both heal 80 lp.

Note: You have to talk to Chocatrice/the Chicken first before you start each hunt
The locations get updated every 2 hours, so I'm editing my posts everytime they change, you can also help me posting the locations if I'm away sleeping.
New Eggs Locations!
1. Freminnik camp on the Daemonheim Penninsula (teleport using the ring of kinship then go south)
2. Near the lodestone in Burthrope (M)
3. Near the Burthrope Agility course (M)
4. Near the sheep field in the Champions' Guild (south of the varrock lodestone)
5. Between Falador and Draynor Manor
M = denotes to a members' area.
