I currently have a rune scimitar and rune kiteshield but now have the levels to wield granite weapons. Should I buy a granite maul or a granite mace? Is it worth moving to a 2h weapon for the better attack stats? Plz advise!

Most people skip the granite equipment and move straight to dragon weaponry...
A granite maul is still a decent weapon and it currently still has a nice special attack. I would suggest going for attack 60, doing the lost city quest and getting a dragon longsword and perhaps a dds/ddp.

i also recommend just going for dragon weapons
i never used the g mace but i did think the g maul was pretty good

If you don't have 60 attack, I remember granite maul being a pretty popular weapon.

Regardless, the g maul is a ery decent weapon. I like them, and enjoy using the g maul. I was hitting well above normal with the rune as to be expected obviously, and the spec are extremely good for the purpose i used them( quest). I would honestly go with a g maul, but also like they said use some dragon weaponary as well.
