When I used to quest all the time, back in the olden days (not even a month ago) [before the site update], I enjoyed seeing the guide as well as the game at the same time.
This, with the old style of RuneHQ, was (barely) possible. Alas it would occasionally cut off some words.
However, if there was an option, or something, that would allow the words to scroll to the next line instead of having to actually scroll the page that would be spectacular.
In other words, I LIKE TO SEE ALL WORDS.
(I'm not entirely sure if "scrolling" is the right terminology).

tl;dr - would it be possible to make the words scroll to the next line instead of having the scroll bar.

If not and this is a dumb idea then just delete this or whatever

Thanks,

What you're saying is, you want to be able to read the paragraph, etc. in a more fluid setting. Instead of having to grab the scroll bar, dragging it down gently, and ultimately moving the page down too far.

EDIT: I could be VERY wrong.

Lol yes indeed.

I mean to the left and right, not down.
Cutting off words up and down isn't really a big deal.

Are you talking about how when viewing the pages side by side, the contents of the page condense so that some of the lines run off the left and right sides of the pages?

If so, I believe the term you are looking for is word wrapping. The current quests page (and the site in general) has a fixed width to it's content div, which would make that difficult. A scaling div would have to be added inside that, or the layout itself modified (which could break other elements that need a fixed width).

One partial solution for the user would be to zoom the text out in the browser to make it smaller.

Be default button combinations should be "Ctrl/Command + Plus/Minus" to zoom in and out (also "Ctrl/Command + Scrollwheel"), and "Ctrl/Command + 0" resets to the default zoom level. Usually "View" in the application menu has controls for this as well.
