Introduction:

As you play the game of RuneScape you may want to change your look. By following this special report, you will be able to change your gender, skin color, shirt, legs, hairstyle, armguards, and shoes.

Gender and Skin Color:

Shop Location: Southwest of Falador.
Shop owner: Make-Over Mage.
Price: 3,000 coins.
Members Only: No.
Requirements: None.

If you would like to change your skin color or gender, head over to the Make-Over Mage, located Southwest of Falador. Members can make use of the shortcuts in the south of Falador. With Level 5 Agility you can go through the crumbled wall. With Level 26 Agility you can go underneath the wall.

Talk to the Make-Over Mage. to accept the make-over. Once the interface appears, you can choose your skin color and gender.

Note: You cannot preview your appearance after the make-over. If you do not like the look of yourself, you can pay 3,000 coins again to change your look. Once you're sure about your choice click "Confirm" and your appearance will be changed.

Torso, Legs, and Arms:

Shop Location: Center of Varrock.
Shop Owner: Thessalia.
Price: Free!
Members Only: No.
Requirements: You must not wear any type of equipment.

If you would like to change your clothes, right click Thessalia and select "Change-clothes". Once the interface appears, you can choose from a wide variety of clothes. You can change the types and colors of your shirt, legs, sleeves and armguards here. To switch between the different clothing types, click on the faded icons in the top left corner. To confirm your choice, press the button in the bottom right corner.

Haircuts:

Shop Location: West part of Falador.
Shop Owner: Hairdresser.
Price: Free!
Members Only: No.
Requirements: You must not wear any headgear.

If you would like to get a haircut, right-click on the Hairdresser and choose "Hair-cut". Once the interface appears, you can choose from a wide variety of hair styles and beards. There are 25 colors to pick from. To remove your beard, choose the "Clean Shaven" style. To confirm your choice, press the button in the bottom right corner.

Armguards:

Shop Location: Northeastern part of Keldagrim.
Shop Owner: Reinald.
Price: 500 coins.
Members Only: Yes.
Requirements: You must have started The Giant Dwarf quest.

Note: Armguards can now be chosen in Varrock by Thessalia for free! This shop in Keldagrim has not been removed from the game and is accessible only to Members with a cost of 500 coins per change.

If you would like to change your armguards in Keldagrim, you can pay a visit to Reinald in the Northeast. For more information on getting there, please check our city guide. If it is your first visit, please check The Giant Dwarf quest guide on how to get there.

Right click on Reinald and choose "Change-armguards". You'll now get a interface where you can change your armguards. Once the interface appears, you can can choose between two types of armguards: silver or gold. To remove your armguards, choose the "Bare Arms" option. To confirm your choice, press the button in the bottom right corner.

Shoes:

Shop Location: West part of Rellekka.
Shop owner: Yrsa.
Price: Free!
Members Only: Yes.
Requirements: You must have completed The Fremennik Trials quest.

If you would like to change your shoes, speak to Yrsa. Once the interface appears, you can choose from a wide variety of shoes and colors. To confirm your choice, press the button in the bottom right corner.

Other Ways Of Changing Your Appearance:

If you build a bedroom in your Player Owned House, you will be able to construct furniture which allow you to change your basic clothes for free. If you have, for example, a high level dresser, you will be able to choose from more beards. This applies to nearly all appearance-changing objects in your bedroom.
