Instructions:
  1. TzHaar-Mej-Ak and TzHaar-Mej-Jeh will tell you that no new TzHaar have been born since last time, and that they are all being born as Ga'al. You will need to find the tokkul of TzHaar-Xil-Kal, TzHaar-Mej-Gek and TzHaar-Ket-Teg. They will give you a Communication orb to keep in contact and to locate the three tokkul.

    Ak and Jeh

  2. Use the Communication orb and click to locate TzHaar-Mej-Gek's tokkul. When you activate the orb while trying to locate the tokkul, it will tell you if you are getting hotter or colder than last time and pull you towards the correct direction. Walk east of the Plaza and you will encounter a cut scene. After the cut scene, keep heading east until you get to Tzhaar-Mej-Het. Talk to him and tell him you require the TokKul of TzHaar-Mej-Gek and he will hand it over to you.

    Tokkul of TzHaar-Mej-Gek

  3. Click to Activate the orb, and this time search for TzHaar-Ket-Teg's tokkul. It will pull you to the south and east. Head south until you get to a hallway that heads up towards the Kiln. There will be a Statue of TzHaar-Ket-Teg that you can mine on the left side - you will receive 5 Fragments of TzHaar-Ket-Teg.

    Tokkul of TzHaar-Ket-Teg

  4. Run south-west to the TzHaar City entrance. Mine the nearby Statue of TzHaar-Xil-Kal and you will receive 5 Fragments of TzHaar-Xil-Kal.

    Tokkul of TzHaar-Xil-Kal

  5. Go to the southeast end of the Main plaza and use fragments on the Lava furnace to smelt them into the TokKul of Tzhaar-Ket-Teg and the TokKul of TzHaar-Xil-Kal.

    Lava Furnace

  6. Next you will need to use the orb to find 3 Ga'al. Talk to each Ga'al and ask them to return to the plaza. After you find all three, return to the plaza and speak to TzHaar-Mej-Ak or TzHaar-Mej-Jeh. Hand the tokkul over to them. TzHaar-Mej-Ak will tell you that you are ready to enter the Elder Kiln and that they will meet you at the entrance.

    Ga'al

  7. Head to the Kiln Cave entrance. Click on it and choose the 'The Brink of Extinction' option. Once you enter the cave, you will get a cut scene. Ga'al-Xox will proceed to kill TzHaar-Mej-Ak and run off with the TokKul. You will need to track him down with the orb. Leave the kill and head to the eastern part of the city, where you will find a cave entrance. Activate your orb near the entrance, and TzHaar-Mej-Jeh says he can sense the tokkul is directly ahead.

    Cave Entrance

  8. Go through the cave entrance and you will encounter a cut scene. After it has finished, four Tz-Kih (level 122) will appear and you will need to kill them to proceed (Weak to water/ice spells). You will receive a checkpoint after killing all of the Tz-Kih. Continue north till you notice an Obsidian mace, Obsidian sword, Obsidian knife, and two Ancient scales on the ground. You will need to put the correct items on the scales for the door to open. Use the Obsidian mace on the left Ancient scale and the Obsidian sword on the right, and the door will open.

    Tz-Kih

  9. Once you go through the door, you will see Ga'al-Xox for a short period of time and he will continue on. Two Tz-Kek (level 124) will appear (weak to water/ice spells). After you kill them, they will break apart and turn into two Tz-Kek (level 122) a piece. Once they are defeated, a Tok-Xil (level 150) appears, as well as a Tz-Kih (level 122). Once you defeat them all, you will receive another checkpoint.

    Tz-Kek

  10. Before you can open the Ancient gate, you will need to solve the puzzle in front of it. There will be three statues of three TzHaar legends. One is a hunter, one is a warrior, and one is a mystic. You will need to push the statues so that they form the 'Combat triangle'. You will notice that when you push them, they have orange arrows. The purple arrows (as shown in the image) will indicate that the pairing is correct. The solution to this puzzle is provided in the image below.

Note: Before proceeding to the next step, search the bookshelf to the left of the gate for an ancient text. It will tell you that the tunnel is part of the original tzhaar network.

    Triangle Puzzle
  11. Go through the Ancient gate and another short cutscene will happen with Ga'al. He will once again escape and you will need to find a way to open the door. You will need to go into the Fight Cauldron and defeat 3 waves of monsters. You also need to dodge the lava as it comes out of the ground. The squares that the lava will come up will glow orange, and you will need to avoid them and go to a non glowing square.

    Tokhaar Hur

  12. After you defeat the champions, a Obsidian maul will drop. Use it on the Ancient scale and move on through the Ancient gate. There will be four Tz-Kil (level 103), and you will need to kill them to proceed (they are weak to bolts). When they are dead, move further into the cave to find four statues and many obsidian items on the ground. You will need to use the correct items on the Ancient Scales in front of the statues so that they get pushed down. The image below shows which item goes where.

    Obsidian Items Puzzle

  13. Open the the Ancient Gate. Just like the previous rounds, you will encounter three Tz-Kih (level 122), followed by two Tz-Kil (level 103), and a Yt-MejKot (level 180). Try to trap Yt-MejKot in a way similar to what is shown in the image below and attack it with Ice blitz/Barrage.

Note: Yt-MejKot will heal itself for 1,000-2,000 Life points every couple of seconds once below half health and also heals any other nearby TzHaar for 500-1,000 Life points. Therefore, it is recommended to kill this monster quickly or use stun abilities to prevent it from healing.

    Yt-MejKot

  14. Once you are done with Yt-MejKot and the Tz-Kih, proceed north till you run into four pedestals. You will be playing a game of Simon. If you are not familiar with this game, the pedestals will light up in a certain order. Touch the pedestal in that order to open the Ancient gate. The order is different for each player. One way to tackle this puzzle is to write down the pattern on paper the lights appear in each time.

    Simon Puzzle

  15. Once you go through the gate you will be faced with another Fight Cauldron area. After you have made it through the waves, one of the champions will drop an Obsidian maul. Place it on the Ancient scale and the Ancient gate will open.

    • First wave: 4 TokHaar-Hur (Water/ice spell weakness).
    • Second wave: 2 TokHaar-Mej (Bolts weakness). After the Meg are dead, a TokHaar-Ket will spawn (Water/ice spell weakness).
    • Third wave: 2 TokHaar-Xil (Crush weakness). When the Xil are dead, another Meg will spawn.
    • Fourth wave: 2 TokHaar-Champions will spawn (Crush weakness).
    Champion

  16. Repeat the same process of fighting the monsters you have encountered before. Once you have killed them all, proceed north till you run into four scales again. You will once again need to put the proper item on each scale. If you inspect a scale, it will have a word inscribed on it, this is different for every player. Once you have placed the items on the correct scales, the Ancient Gate will open. Use the following chart as a guide:

  17. Once you have gone through the gate, you will encounter three Tz-Kil (level 103) again. After killing them, be ready for Ket-Zek (level 105) and two Tz-Kek (level 124). If you prefer, you may kill the Tz-Keks first, and then the Ket-Zek. Otherwise, you can just tank them. The Ket-Zek uses both magic and melee attacks. It is fairly easy to kill with water/ice spells. Be sure to stay a couple steps away from the Ket-Zek, so you will not have to deal with its melee attacks.

    Ket Zek

  18. Once you have killed all the monsters, head north till you see symbols on the floor. Rotate the symbols to form the TzHaar symbol shown below to open the Ancient Gate up ahead. Pass through the gate when it opens.

    Rotate Puzzle

  19. Next door will have another Cauldron and Ga'al-Xox will be in it. He will tell you the TokHaar is the reason for the Ga'al and needs to turn the conduit back on to restore the heat to make the TzHaar. Go to the other Valve and you and Ga'al-Xox will rotate it, and the lava will turn back on, and TokHaar-Hok will appear.

    TokHaar-Hok

  20. Please read through this entire step thoroughly BEFORE you begin the fight.

At this point, it is recommended to stock up on food and potions. (Rocktails, Super potions and a Prayer potion are recommended). Using Ice Blitz/Barrage is highly recommended for this fight as they freeze TokHaar-Hok in place and allow you to attack him from a distance, thus avoiding his devastating melee attacks. As soon as you attack TokHaar-Hok, number of ranger minions will start to span. Ignore them and concentrate on TokHaar-Hok. You can use Protect from/Deflect Ranged to limit the damage from these minions while ensuring that you are not within melee range of TokHaar-Hok).

At 50% health, TokHaar-Hok will attempt to heal himself in the lava flow. You must immediately use a stunning ability on him (either Asphyxiate or Impact with Magic), otherwise he will heal 5,000 LP every game tick.

Alternatively, if you do not have access to Ice Spells, using a Chaotic maul or other strong crush weapon should be sufficient. However, you will take a lot more damage from TokHaar-Hok's attacks and so you should keep Protect from/Deflect Melee active at all times. Switch between using Backhand and Kick to stun him when he tries to heal.

Make sure you are doing everything listed below:

    • Use your abilities! This is absolutely important, if you expect to win this fight! Consult the example abilities setup in the image below.
    • Use your stun ability! This is crucial as it prevents TokHaar-Hok from approaching the lava fall and healing itself!
    • Avoid the glowing orange vents. You will take damage quickly if you are not careful!
    • Keep an eye on your prayer points! TokHaar-Hok will slowly drain your prayer points.

    Boss fight

  21. After you have defeated TokHaar-Hok, he will tell you that they will withdraw for the Kiln and the lava becomes unblocked and starts flowing. Talk to Ga'al-xox. He will tell you that you must melt down the tokkul, and to convince TzHaar-Mej-Jeh to meet Ga'al-xox outside the kiln. Make your way to the Main plaza, and talk to TzHaar-Mej-Jeh.

    Ak and Jeh

  22. Return to the Kiln and click on cave. Click the Brink of Extinction and go inside. TokHaar-Hok will agree to help you with condition that you will be in battle with the TokHaar so that they will learn your techniques and skills. Agree to it and a short cutscene will happen where Ga'al-Xox is fused with TzHaar-Mej-Ak, who begs to be released from all the pain. TzHaar-Mej-Jeh agrees that we cannot trap the souls of the TzHaar in tokkul anymore. TokHaar-Hok wishes to take Ga'al-Xox to the sacred lava, but he does not want to go. You will tell him that the Ga'al can learn and TzHaar-Mej-Jeh and the TzHaar will take responsibility for the nurturing of the Ga'al.
