Description:

Darren Lightfinger is working to get his own Thieves Guild set up in Lumbridge. But what good is a Thieves Guild if it doesn't offer jobs of the sneaky kind? That is just the type of job that Darren is currently offering. Players who are especially skilled in the quick-fingered arts will find various opportunities after your initial trial run to earn bonus experience and a little bit of loot. After all, what good is it trying to steal something if its not valuable.

Start Point:

In the cellar of the house just north of the Lumbridge furnace.

To Start:

Speak to Darren Lightfinger

Instructions:

Make your way to the house north of the furnace in Lumbridge and climb down the trapdoor along its northern wall. Once in the cellar, ask Darren Lightfinger what he is doing there. He will tell you all about his money making scheme and offer you the chance to join his guild if you help him rob a chalice from the bank of Lumbridge. Darren will first ask you to pickpocket the Mark 1 dummy as skillfully as you can. You will then automatically walk over to the dummy and you will have to pickpocket it. Once you have done that, speak to him again and he will tell you to go and seek out Chief Thief Robin in the Lumbridge Castle Courtyard.

Note: The easiest way to reach Lumbridge is by using the Home teleport spell (Requires no runes or Magic level). While pickpocketing the dummy, you can also "teach" Darren more about pickpocketing and earn an extra 2k experience.
Leave the cellar and run south toward the Lumbridge Castle Courtyard. Next to the castle's southern wall you will find Chief Thief Robin. He will inform you that the bank no longer has the Golden chalice as it is now with a Priest in the Lumbridge Swamp. Your task will be to retrieve it without using violence.
Head to Father Urhney's house in the southern part of the Lumbridge Swamp. When you attempt to pickpocket him, you will receive a message saying he is too alert and that you must distract him. Go outside and light a fire under one of the open windows next to Father Urhney then speak to him twice. The second time you speak to him tell him that he has a nice Chalice and then choose the option "Fire! Fire!". While he is distracted, pickpocket the Complex key from him. Use the key on the display case next to his bed to snatch away the Golden chalice.
Return to Darren Lightfinger and give him the Golden chalice to claim your reward.
