Items Needed at Quest Start:
A black outfit of at least three pieces (Black armor will work as well), Shantay passes, Silverlight, Silver bar, black mushroom ink, Empty vial, and Pestle and mortar.

Note: For the outfit, you can wear any combination of Black dragonhide, Black mystic robes, Dark wizard robes, Ghostly robes, and Desert robes dyed black, using the Black mushroom ink; as long as you have at least three pieces of black clothing, Evil Dave will accept you).

Amulet of glory or Ring of dueling, 600 Coins, Waterskins, Knife, Desert shirt, Desert robe (bottom), Desert boots, a Weapon, Food and Armor.

Start Point:
Al Kharid.
To Start:
Speak to Father Reen.
Instructions:
  1. Speak with Father Reen, wandering around to the south of Al Kharid bank. He will then tell you that evil wizards are trying to summon a demon, and will send you to Father Badden at the Ruins of Uzer.

    Step 1

  2. Head through Shantay pass and take a Magic carpet to Uzer (costs 200gp). Once there, talk to Father Badden. When the conversation is over pick up a Black mushroom near the entrance to the ruin and use it with the Pestle and mortar. You will now have a vial filled with Black mushroom ink. Use this with the Silverlight to dye it black.

    Step 2

  3. Show the Silverlight (Black) to Evil Dave. Evil Dave is located at the entrance of the demon portal that you visited during the The Golem quest. If he thinks you are evil enough, meaning you are wearing 3 pieces of black clothing, he will open the portal for you and bring you to Denath.

    Step 3

  4. Denath will accept you into his team. He will tell you an incantation and ask you to craft a Demonic sigil. Remember the incantation as you will need it later on. Before you leave for the real world, speak to Jennifer to obtain a Demonic sigil mould.

    Step 4

  5. Teleport back to Al Kharid and use a Silver bar with the furnace to smith the Demonic sigil and head back to the demon realm at the Ruins of Uzer. Talk to Matthew, who will tell you to find a book (Make sure you have the mould on you).

    Step 5

  6. Next, speak to the Clay Golem outside the temple and ask if he saw something last night. He will tell you that a man put a book into a broken kiln. Search the four kilns near the Clay golem, one behind the ruins to the east, and one north of the magic carpet to find the book.

    Step 6

  7. Read the book and take it back to Matthew. Denath will now tell you to start the ritual. Using your sigil, say the words in the order that Denath told you earlier.

    Step 7

  8. Denath will now step into the portal and Matthew will tell you that we sent Denath is in fact Agrith-Naar and you have sent him back to the demon world. Some of the members will leave the group, so pick up Denath's Sigil and head after them.

    Note: If you do not pick up Denath's Sigil, you must make another one using the mould and another silver bar.

  9. As you walk out, Tanya will be killed by ghosts. Pick up her sigil and talk to Evil Dave. Evil Dave will show you Eric (who was crushed by rocks). Tell Evil Dave to head back inside the portal, and get the fourth sigil from him. (Check your inventory, you should have 4 Sigils now).

  10. Grab the strange implement in the northwest corner and head outside. (You WILL take damage randomly through out this part so watch your hitpoints!) Talk to Father Reen, and tell him to get inside. He will not want to go, so choose the last option and he will decide you are right.

  11. Next, talk to father Badden and give him a sigil.

  12. Now go ask the Golem, but he will not want to go so you will have to reprogram him. Use the Strange implement on him then give him a sigil.

    Important Note: Before proceeding further, please note that you will be confronting Agrith-Naar. The fight is not safe and you will lose your items in case you die. Therefore, it is advised not to bring any items you are not willing to lose!

  13. Now go back to the temple, enter the demon room, and then talk to Matthew again. Read the book and find and use the chant. You will summon Agrith-Naar (level 100). Agrith-Naar will kill Matthew, and you will tell him that you were the one who betrayed him.

  14. He will now attack you using magic and melee, so the Protect from magic prayer is recommended. You can use any weapon against Agrith-Naar, but you have to deal the final blow with the black silverlight. Once the demon is killed, your silverlight will turn into a darklight.

    Step 14

    Congratulations! Quest Complete!
