Requirements:

Where Found:
Player made (see notes).
Item Uses:
Used for Mining any rock with ease.
Notes:
The Pickaxe of Earth and Song is the best pickaxe in the game, with the following Mining stats:
  • Damage: 50 - 140
  • Average Damage: 95
  • Penetration: 235

Making this item requires a Crystal pickaxe, Imcando pickaxe, and a Blast fusion hammer. It can be Smithed at any normal anvil while the player has these three items in their inventory.

Should a player attempt to make a Pickaxe of earth and song using an Augmented Imcando or Crystal pickaxe, the augmentation, item experience, and gizmos will all carry over to the new Augmented pickaxe of earth and song unaffected. If both the pickaxes are augmented, the player will be asked which augmentation they would like to keep. The resulting Pickaxe of earth and song will only contain the perks and experience of the pickaxe chosen- all the item experience and Tool gizmos on the other pickaxe will be lost.

While the Pickaxe of earth and song can be augmented, it can also be added to a player's toolbelt without augmentation. However, it is far less expensive and much less work to make or buy an Elder rune pickaxe +5, which has the same Mining stats as the Pickaxe of earth and song if you looking to put it on your toolbelt. Note that unlike the Pickaxe of earth and song, the Elder rune pickaxe +5 cannot be augmented.
