Make your way to Port Phasmatys, east of Canifis, and pay the toll of 2 Ecto-tokens to enter the city. Once inside, head to the pub in the center of the city and talk to Bill Teach. He will tell you that he is in need of a pirate to sail with him and ask you if you want to become a pirate. Answer with yes. When he asks you if you are a man/woman of your word, answer with yes. Bill Teach will then tell you to board his ship the Adventurous for a trip to Mos Le'Harmless.
Note: The easiest way to reach Port Phasmatys is by using the Ectophial's teleport (requires completion of the Ghosts Ahoy quest), the Fairy Ring code ALQ, or by chartering a boat. If you choose to charter a boat you will not need the 2 Ecto-tokens or the Ghostspeak Amulet.
Head over to the docks and board the most eastern ship. Speak with Bill Teach on the deck. He will ask you if you are ready to go. Say you are ready and cut scene will occur in which the ship gets attacked. After the cut scene, Bill will tell you to destroy the other ships cannon.
Note: If you leave the ship at any time, you will lose the acquired quest items.
Open and search the gun locker for a Fuse and the repair locker for 4 Ropes. Pick up the Tinderbox next to the plunder chest at the back of the ship.
Go up the ship's ladder to the north and climb up the southern climbing net. Attach a Rope to the hoisted sail and you will automatically jump over to the other ship.
Note: If you fail to jump across, your run energy will be completely drained and any weapon or shield unequipped.
Once on the other ship, use the Fuse with the barrel, and then light it with the Tinderbox. The barrel will blow up. Now, go up this ship's climbing net and attach a Rope to the ship's hoisted sail. Once again, you will automatically jump over to the other ship.
Note: Beware of Pirates (level 26) on the enemy ship.
Once on board of the Adventurous, talk to Bill Teach, who will ask you to repair the holes in his ship. Go downstairs and withdraw 6 Repair planks, 30 Tacks, 3 Swamp paste and a Hammer from the repair locker. Use a plank and then some paste with one of the holes. Repeat this on the other holes until the ship is patched up.
Go up to the main deck and talk to Bill Teach again, who will ask you to plunder the other ship. Tie the Ropes to the ship's hoisted sail again and swing over to the other ship. Once on the other ship, go downstairs and plunder the plunder storage chest, ransack the barrel, and loot the crate. Return to your ship and store the Plunders in the plunder-chest on the lower deck.
Note: You may have to wait for the Plunders to respawn in the chest, barrel and crate in order to collect all 10. If you leave both ships for the mainland without having stored all 10 Plunders in the chest, then you will have to steal them all over again. Beware of Pirates (level 26) on the enemy ship.
Once you have collected and stored all 10 plunders in the chest, talk to Bill Teach again. He will tell you to repair his ship's cannon and to use it to fill the other ship's crew with holes. Fetch a Cannon barrel from the gun locker and use it to repair the broken cannon on the main deck.
Speak with to Bill Teach again and he will tell you to get a Canister, a Fuse, and a Ramrod from the gun locket. Head back up to the main deck and take some Gunpowder from the barrel next to the cannon. Put the powder in the cannon and ram it down with the Ramrod. Put in the Canister, the Fuse and fire the cannon when a Pirate (level 26) is within reach.
Note: If you miss, you must repeat this step. If you do not ram down the Gunpowder or clean the cannon before firing, the cannon will blow up and you will have to repair it again.
Now, clean the cannon with the Ramrod and talk to Bill Teach. He tell you that you need to fire 3 cannonballs at the other ship to sink her. Get hold of 3 more pieces of Gunpowder, 3 Cannonballs, and 3 Fuses. Once again, put the Gunpowder in the cannon and ram it down. Now, put in a Cannonball instead of a Canister. Finally, add the Fuse to it and fire the cannon. Clean it out with the Ramrod and repeat the process.
Note: If you miss, you must reload the cannon. If you do not ram down the Gunpowder or clean the cannon before firing, the cannon will blow up and you will have to repair it again. If you logout or leave the ship, the number of times you have hit the other ship will reset.
When you have hit the ship 3 times, the ship will set sail for Mos Le'Harmless and a cut scene will occur.
When you arrive, you will be awarded. Talk to Bill Teach again and he will give you 10K Coins for helping him with the ship.
