Hey

Just a quick post to let you know that we are rethinking the idea of bonus XP weekends. We have run these for the last few years and whilst they are quite rewarding, there are some big negatives to the way they work.

We certainly want to do XP promotions in the future, but what form they will take, we just don’t know yet. We wanted to let you know nice and early, so, to those of you buying stocks up trying to make a quick profit or preparing for future bonus XP weekends... don’t!

Actually, we're organizing some other great member’s rewards for the latter part of the year, so keep reading the news to find out what we have planned.

Not really sure how they're going to promote XP if it's not during a bonus XP weekend...unless it's some sort of item you have to buy.

Not really a fan of Bonus Xp weekend. Always makes prices rise to the roof.

You could still keep saving for whenever bots are next removed. Will likely have an price boost for a while.

I always used those but never took for granted that there is going to be another one so I am not terribly bothered over it. Allthough I do understand that some people were making long-reaching plans.

Just worried that the alternative will be something horribly annoying and SoF-related.

After they nerfed summoning, I kinda lost hope in bxpw's. Had hoped to get some easy herblore levels though.

On the bright side, I can sell all those bird nests I have saved up for lots o' money. And with my newly acquired factory outfit, I'll be forced to train the slow and profitable way. :F

I enjoyed it when they did them, but not sad to see them go. No telling what's up their sleeves now.
