after the beta i understand that my zerk wont be able to do some of the things it has. before but as far as 1 def. pures go statistically speaking. are they in or out ? and whats the hottest new stat match ups to get after the beta ? thanks guys

Pures will effectively become noobs, they have to evolve into maxed accounts or die out now.

Pures that have 1 Defence will get totally annihilated because they don't have the additional Life bonus from armours that they're restricted from.

Pures are kind of doomed now, we will rarely see pures after the EoC update.

Pures will probably adapt it will just take time.

adapt? the idea of a pure is to keep your cb lvl low by haveing no def. in eoc no def=no armour=990 hp on a maxed pure vs like 5000 on a mid lvl acount. pures are screwed.

One of the big reasons of Eoc was to get rid of pures. Jagex never supported them.

I know a lot of friends who have pures, wonder if I will ever see them once EoC is fully released.

I'm happy and I can say this as a PKer who hasn't hasn't had a main since 2007. We don't have to restrict ourselves any more to be effective in PVP. We can complete any quests we want, level any skills we want, and do anything

We can do whatever we want and be able to PK effectively.

Before, we couldn't.

People who have tanks and pures should be happy - we don't have to limit ourselves anymore. No one should quit because it's killing pures...

There will probably be new types of pures anyway since Prayer/Summoning aren't part of combat levels.

I don't think that pures are going to die out or anything seeing as a lot of pures are in clans so they'll probably just war/pk against each other.

Pures are gonna die out. <3 No more annoying irritants that take mid-high level people weeks to prepare and do and find out that low-level pure buttheads take all the glory and lower the credentials for it~

I personally foresee a new type of 'pure'. Sure we won't have the pures as you are currently used to them any longer. However think about it, once you have maxed your first combat type and defense level, none of the remainder of your combat styles will have any effect on your total combat level, leaving people to play around with their accounts in all manner of ways as yet unforeseen. We shall just have to wait and see what is in store.

More of your options will also be affected by your armor and weapon choices, so some of what occurs may have something to do with those choices.

again kitty i repeat the idea of a pure is to keep your cb lvl low. the only pure that might possibly work is a summing tank, and to me thats not a true pure because it involves def.
