They're convenient, but I feel like Runescape is just getting too easy, too fast. Hopefully they won't make combat really easy after this combat overhaul..

I like the lodestones a lot, mostly because I am lazy and before they came I used very many runes and teletabs to get around. Very handy, but Runescape has indeed become too easy as Riku mentioned. Especially with the Bonfire and Runespan.

I can understand why Jagex has been making it easier. I guess there were too many noobs not really figuiring out the game.

Well.. You could always teleport. Even back in classic. That was expensive though, I'd always just sell the runes myself.

I haven't really yet taken advantage of the new Lodestone system, but I'll get to it eventually..

Has anyone thought that they're making Runescape easier due to the bots? As in, we're not putting in much more effort, so we should keep playing and not letting the bots discourage us.

I remember when the first home tele came out, that was already something of a big deal. The lodestones, even though they're amazingly convenient, are part of the multitude of things that are just making the game too easy.

Has anyone thought that they're making Runescape easier due to the bots? As in, we're not putting in much more effort, so we should keep playing and not letting the bots discourage us.

Anything we can use, the bots can too, so that point is kind of moot.

I use them sometimes but I am too much old school and usually forget there's a lodestone and use some other method instead. One lodestone I absolutely like is the Catherby one as there really wasn't good Catherby transport before.

Well Benny, the logic would follow that less work we have to do, the more irrelevant it is that another is benefiting while afk. If there's a huge difference in effort put in by a legitimate player opposed to a botter (the work of the player, not the character) then people would get even angrier. It still seems like they're trying to blur the line between player and botter a bit.

I love the lodestone because you no longer need to have runes or jewelry with you which save a lot of space. Haven't used a glory to get to edgeville since

And you can sell your entire stock of laws practically. :P I had 10k, down to 2k. I wonder if this is (and will) why the Law runes have lowered.

Have actually yet to use any, besides the ones you unlock right off the bat. Lol. Probably because I just been in Runespan, and have had nowhere to travel :P
