Advanced Members is a special non-staff group here on RuneHQ that costs real money. As of this post, it costs $15 USD per year or $2 USD per month to become an Advanced Member. Not only are you paying a little bit of money to help us maintain the costs for this site, but you will also receive a number of benefits in return.
The following is a list of current benefits that Advanced Members receive.

- 2 extra base attacks per each attack session
- An extra weapon only accessible to AMs. The Korasi's Sword becomes visible when you reach 300 strength.
- An extra item only available to AMs. The Renewal potion costs 300gp and heals 300 strength and 300 health.
Miscellaneous
- No ads when logged into the forums. There is currently one large square advert to the right of the shoutbox.
- Your group color has a slight glow effect to it and also sparkles a little!
- You obviously have access to these private boards
- You can customize your profile to give a personalized background image (FAQ on how to change it coming soon)
- There is no search flood control for you anymore meaning you do not have to wait 10 seconds between searching.
- Your PM storage is increased to 2500 (Established members only get 300).
- You can remove the "Edited by" text after editing a post if you desire.
- Within the shoutbox, you are now able to edit and delete your own shouts if needed.
- Your member title can be changed at any time, regardless if you've reached the post count limit or not.
- First look at any exclusive Jagex images, interviews, etc.
- First access to early feedback, preview images, and beta tests of any major RuneHQ features.
- The Advanced Member rank within Ventrilo.
- Access to an Advanced Member only channel on Ventrilo.
The following is a list of benefits that we are currently investigating:
- No ads when logged into the website. We are considering allowing AMs to not see any ads on the website as well, but we are currently looking into the cost of this. It may be necessary to add a higher level of Advanced Members at a higher price to make that happen. More info when we know more.
- Periodic RS merchandise giveaways. This could include items from the Jagex store, RS membership, etc. We are also investigating the price of this right now and will get back to you soon.
- An opportunity to meet up with a Jagex Moderator live in game every few months. There would be one set time every few months where all AMs could go and talk to the JMod about.. whatever they wanted to. We are waiting to receive a response back from Jagex on this.
