I am really confused. I attacked someone (not telling), neither of us died, yet I seem to now have -101/288 experience. What on earth does that mean?

dang you're right..that's odd ...

I can explain this. When you don't kill someone and their counterattack wins them the battle, you will be declared the loser and will lose the xp they won from the attack.

so if you have 1/288 xp and your opponent gained 102 x -> 1-102 = -101/288

I've reported it, but not sure if they consider it a bug or not.

i don't believe it's a bug, the last version had it too. I guess they made the xp gain like that on purpose

Odd. So that means they steal xp from me if I lose a battle?

You can kinda think about it like that I suppose... but to the best of my knowledge, you can only receive negative experience if YOU initiate the attack AND lose to them.

No response from them yet on it, but then again I haven't received a response from any of my other bug reports recently either so... yeah....

That is exactly what happened. I attacked and then lost. Guess now I know. So suicide-ing against Edd so that others can take him down farther won't be in the battle plans anymore?

So, is this a bug or not? I just lost EXP as well. Also, as varunky asked, does suiciding make us lose exp?

The last version had this too so I think they made it this way intentionally.

Then does suicide make you lose EXP?

I'm not sure but I think it does because you lost the battle you started.
