runescape won't load

since yesterday runescape will not load. It goes to the screen where the circle thing goes round and round and never gets any further. eventually ie locks up. any suggestions. I have tried numerous things with no avail. please help.

Try clearing your cache and update your java.

firefox or chrome I suggest

like alfa said: clear cache, update java

You can also try to redownload it if you use the client, but I would recommend using the browser.

Also, if you had not tried this, the best way to fix something on a computer - Restart it.

If this doesn't work, make sure you delete your cache and you have the most up-to-date java and flash.
Java just released an update in the past week, so that could be the issue

Is this thread referring to the SwiftKit client or the client from RSOS (OS = Official Site) Downloads - Client?

If it's Swiftkit, I'm having troubles getting past "Play with Facebook". :|

I agree what was previously stated here is a quick guide to deleting your cache, cookies, and your ie settings.
  • From the Tools menu in the upper right, select Internet Options.
  • Under "Browsing history", click Delete... .
  • To delete your cache, click Delete files... .
    To delete your cookies, click Delete cookies... .
    To delete your history, click Delete history... .
  • Click Close, and then click OK to exit

If this does not work
  • From the Tools menu in the upper right, select Internet Options.
  • Click the Advance Tab
  • You will see something called Reset Internet Explorer Settings
  • Click where it says Reset.
  • It will give you a list of Options of what you would like to keep.
  • Select what you would like to keep and click OK
