Imagine it, you are walking to the grand exchange when it starts raining. Then you see player get out their umbrellas. You look around and you see raindrops hitting the ground, hear thunder and see the flickering of lightning.

I think this would be a cool addition to runescape, and its simple. All it is is weather, pure and simple with all forms of it.

Tell me what you guys think

I think my computer lags even when I'm in fixed screen and have all the graphics as low as they can go...

Definitely sounds like it would be a cool idea! I'd love to see something like that happen. It'd give the game a lot more day-to-day flavor, I think.

You probably just need to get a better CPU/GPU - you have plenty of memory, even with the 32-bit cap. (if you want to get the whole 4gb, you need to have a 64-bit OS)

I do have a 64-bit OS. Possible that it's that either the OS is reserving that bit of RAM to run itself or that I have a bad stick.

Anyway, OT: There's still some issues that they need to work out before they should try to implement this imo.

Yeah it might be nice.
But, just like soccer games (Fifa/PES) the rain/snow may be annoying.

Would be a good addition, I do however doubt how easy it'll be to implement such a difficult thing in the game.

well I mean they had weather in some old N64 games and Gamecube games, it shouldn't be that hard to implement weather into runescape

It depends on the weather. if you make it hardcore like raining lava or tsunamis... etc. that would be cool

I think this is a good idea and it has been suggested on the RuneScape forums ages ago. It shouldn't be that hard to add it to the game, but I think there would be some difficulties to make it run smooth on both high and low detail mode. I would like to see that RuneScape could be downloaded and installed on computer for higher detail as an addition to the browser version.

I think Jagex need to let us have third-person view with a sky before rain is even considered.

I like this idea, except for the lagg part. Bots have helped with increasing lagg especially now that they are back, so I don't think it will happen any time soon
