I really hate it when your waiting in the wilderness, seeking your next kill. You see a white dot on your minimap, and the player notices, and flees. Or vice versa, your trying to leave and someone sees you, ice barrages you and kills you, Either way it sucks. What if there was an item that could hide you? Well, I thing there should be. I suggest, as a part to the theiving skill, to add the possibility to have items with a certain teir of 'stealth'. The teirs would determine the stealthieness (lol) that your item gives you. Also, the items for stealth would be mostly capes, rings and amulets so you dont lose a valuble peice of armor just to get off the mini map.

These are the teirs I suggest, and note that all teirs have the aspect of their lower teirs (teir three has its traits and teir two's and one's.)

Teir one- Faded, like the ghostly robes. Not much a difference.

Teir two- Marked as an npc on minimap, and darker fade.

Teir three- Off the map completeley, and same fade as two.

Teir four- From far away completley invisible. Also above effects.

Teir five- From closer distance completeley invisible; above effects included.

Thanks for reading, and if you can also read my other post in suggestions, 'rare/roaming creatures'

Thanks again, please leave feedback :D

I feel like the invisibility at range would be a bit overpowered, but I feel like what you could do, is just have a greater and greater effect over time, like following:
  • Tier 1: Not marked on minimap until within a medium-long distance.
  • Tier 2: Not marked on minimap until within a medium distance.
  • Tier 3: Not marked on minimap until within a medium-short distance.
  • Tier 4: Not marked on minimap at all.
It's a fun idea, though - it'd make deep-wilderness PKing a lot more feasible for f2p, as well as for solo PKers.

This could really be funny XD but yeah over all I think it's a well thought suggestion. But we shouldn't make it too "stealth-full" or else ppking could die out

If you wish to hide, you lose power. That is generally they way things work. Making it so you could wear full bandos, and not be marked on the minimap, wont end well. I suggest making it a full set perk, and have the full set have little or no defense bonus.

I prefer Nightfirecat's ideas for tiers as it seems less overpowered, but I like the general concept. However, I feel that the item fits more with Agility than Thieving.

Now that I think about it, this sounds right - having a single item do this (especially a minor item such as a jewellery item) would be a bit overpowered.

An excellent observation - I agree.

I think that it would be a great tier 5 aura but it should only take your white dot off the mini map, being compleatly invisible would be realy cheap and overdone.

I agree with the new set of teirs, as the origanal was sort of over powered. And as for the full set of armor, that would make the idea pointless- somebody does see you and you are dead. Though I do see your point. This would need to be thought over. Thanks for the support though guys.

Oh and as for the agility/theiving thing, when I was first thonking of this I had the same idea, and I thought it over. But if this was in the game it would provide a good reason for training theiving Lol.

Maybe it could be a dual requirement - both agility and thieving?

Yes, that was what I was implying. Maybe like for teir one stuff an average of level 20 theiving, and 15 agility? I do still think it should be based on theiving, but agility would make sense two.

Hm, I like the idea, again Nightfirecat's tier idea is slightly less over powered. What if there are different tiers in the Wilderness compared to Clan Wars, Say in the Wilderness you can't go completely invisible at close range but in Clan wars it could be possible to go completely invisible in non-rated clan wars.

Ooh, I like this idea - it'd be an interesting dynamic to be able to go invisible on the minimap during clan wars, since they'd be looking for you anyway, and thus not overpowered.

Note that some people may not of spent any LP Since the beginning of the Loyalty program.

This would be heavily overused, and downright abused. @.@

-This is just my opinion, ye who hates to be Pk'd.-

I personally think Stealth should be added to the list with combat skills. Yes I know, like there isn't enough skills already, but Stealth is such an extreme variable in combat, it would be hard to really just give it to you.

If this was to happen you could use it to not be visable on the mini map so it could be a iteam/aura for pkers and other people that are in the wildy for other reasons.
