[Double_D_Edd]

What brought you to our site, and what keeps you coming back here? I would love to hear the different reasons as to why our faithful members love this site so much instead of all the other ones out there.

I used to be a die-hard tip.it user but it got to the point where I wasn't getting enough info so I would google what I was looking for and RuneHQ was always one of the top links so I always used it as a second reference. I didn't fully convert until my best friend and mentor in game mentioned he used RuneHQ and from then on I was hooked and the site found a special place in my favorites list <3

As stated similarly, I needed help one day with a quest, and I came here, I kept coming back here for quests and other guides, and one day back in 2007 I decided to finally join the forums, and from then I've been here ever since.

This was really the first major internet community I had ever been a part of. Joined in 2005 about half a year after starting Runescape, and only about half a year before stopping as well, but even then I stayed involved in the community for a couple more years in some staff positions and kept in touch with the people I came to know. While I've since lost touch with a good number of them and stopped being active on the forums, I can't help but come back to see how things people have come and gone, and get some of that good ol' nostalgia

I come to the forums for the community. I started using the site back in 2005, I saw that the site had forums but at that time I wasn't really into forums. When the forums I used to visit closed down I remembered the forums here and joined. I love the community here and the members. I come here daily to see if there are any conversations I can contribute to. Its been exactly 2 years and I would never change coming here.

I first came to RuneHQ because I didn't know how to do a quest and a friend recommended RHQ. I first came into the forums because I needed help on the quest, Horror from the Deep. I stayed in RHQ because it is a nice community and I get along well with some of the people here.

Now this is a story all about how I joined RuneHQ and lost the game. I'd like to take a minute just sit right there, I'll tell you how I made Edd lose the game.

In west Ardougne, born and raised, by the gallows is where I spent most of my days. Chilling out, maxing, scaring the noobs, and shooting some gnomeball at random bots when a couple of guys they were up to no good, started spreading the game in my neighbourhood. I got into one little argument and the mourners got scared and said "You're going on RuneHQ for revenge!"

I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said "Edd's Moobs" and had a banhammer on the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rad. But I thought "Nah, forget it." Yo homes just lost the game!

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight, and yelled to the cabby "THUG AIM!" Looked at Edd's kingdom I was finally there, to inform Edd that he just lost the game.

I originally used RuneHQ for the Quest and Treasure Trail guides. But one day at a football game, my uncle told me about the forums. Sure enough, I went home and joined up.

I keep coming back because of the atmosphere. I enjoy the people and discussions that go on here. It feels nice to be around people who enjoy Runescape as much as I do.

I first came and checked out the site due to hearing about RuneHQ on game. I used the site for almost all the information I needed to understand the game more. The more I used the site the more I wanted to become a member. So back in 2007 I became a member. Celebrated my 4 yrs this year. I didn't use the forums as much until the past year when I became a very active here. I eventually found out the main clan chat ( now friends chat) that everyone was in. Made so many new friends and close friends. I don't think any other site could beat a community like this. I feel so much at home here with you all. I couldn't join another community. You have made my experience here on RuneHQ well worth it! Thank you to all.

When I joined Oct 12, 2003, RuneHq was "The place for all your Runescape needs." There no comparison to other fan sites as to the amount of content available, the game was just being discovered and this site needed help discovering it. So that led me to join the forums and after a lot of years of change, some people, just keep coming back years after leaving the game.

I originally came to find good quest guides because my friend had told me that this was the place to look. Now I just stay because of the community.

na but really i come for the community everyone seems friendly and willing to help which is great and lovely
the fact it is a 1 stop place.................(ie) can get all the runescape info i need to help me in-game and also stop off 4 a chat and a look
so its just a great place to hang

i love you runehq.....ty to all those who make this site what it is..........---you make my life alot happier
