I haven't used mine yet, but I'm thinking about using them for the QBD

the bank reward of the fates is useless compared to instakill darts. the bank is only usable for 1 hour, then it disappears.

Nomad looked pretty god damn dead when i used a dart on him.

Admitted, he did get back up in the cut scene but he's supposed to.

This isn't exactly what I got , but I will post what I do get afterwards. I need some advice first.

As a rule I'm a solo player, so I've decided to try Nex with my darts. I figure it's the only chance I got at such a boss by myself. And so, I'm looking for advice.

I don't want to invest on ancient robes, if I only get 4 cracks at Nex. My question is: After you get your kill count to 40, can you safely access the bank prior to going into Nex's area and gear up? and can yo uexit Nex's area back to the bank without teleporting out and having to kill another 40 of Zaro's minions?

I was thinking of using the instakill dart on Nomad to get that quest done. However, I might just save it and just use my fates on the remote banking. Have a real life friend who is willing to use them with me with cutting magics or something.

That's exactly what I thought too. Remote banking for the places that are so distant from a bank like Eagle's peek. The instakill dart is legit sweet, but I don't think it'd fit my need so I went with the remote banking.

Yup. You use your 40 kc to get into the bank area. Then, after you're done using the bank, you jump into the nex room. That's where the fun is.

Once you've jumped down, you can't get back up. So, you have to tele out.

So you'll have to get the 40 kill count and the frozen key every time you attempt nex? or would you just take 4 darts with you and wait for her respawn?

The frozen key has 5 uses and can be repaired. After killing nex you can just wait for her to respawn. So, you can use all 4 darts in one trip. If you want to skip the 40 kc you can buy a full set of ancient ceremonial robes.

CapuDie - ancient ceremonial robes are expensive - so if you are like me and more than likely will only go a max of 4 times it might not pay to have them. If you go there a lot, with a team for instance, then yeah get them.

I got 1 dart, but haven't used it yet. I also got the deposit box, which I also haven't used. The other two I haven't decided yet. When I use the dart it will probably be on KBD. =)

So, finally I got my nerve and went to say hello to Nex with two instakill darts.

I got 4,800 rune ess the first time. I waited for her to respawn and she dropped more sara brews and super restores that I could carry. So I loaded up on sara brews, as I cant make those.

The question now is, what to do with my last one? The first dart I used it on Jad, as I am total noob when it comes to prayer switching. Do I use it to try and get the newer fire cape? (I can't rememeber what it is called) or do I try Nex again?

Suggestions from anybody are welcomed. Thanks.

- Nex again (and hope for some good loot)
- queen black dragon (highest lvl monster ingame + requirement for completionist cape... lol)
- new firecape

I personally spent mine on 3x nex and 1x queen black dragon, no good loot but oh well...

In order to get kiln cape you need to kill... 7 jads, I believe. So, be warned and good luck!
