Seriously, they were needed at the beginning to fill in targets, but now they've become a game killer. You're at a disadvantage now if you play the game the way it was intended to be played and the only way you can be anywhere near the top is to turn into a bot and do the easiest levels over and over again. Battle is rapidly deteriorating into some RuneScape bot-filled look alike. It's not fun anymore.

The reason I started leveling a bot was because before you even hit 75, you had the most powerful weapon. You could no longer kill anyone near your level. For about 200 levels there, I think the only people Edd and Alfa could beat on was each other. Bots give us the ability to go through all the fun of leveling again.
Now that there's new weapons though, I plan to stop using my bot (After I get it to a specific level), and try to take that #1 spot for myself.
And yes, bots are easier to level. Yes, they're higher up on the list. But they're not on the level leaders board. That's for the best of the best. You're on there yourself, and I wouldn't complain if that was me.

If you notice that is why I'm not resetting and adding levels to my bot. I'm quite enjoying this now actually with all the new weapons that I'm unlocking, it has made it much more interesting.

While bots can have the highest level on the list, I think it's well established that it takes more effort to level up a user account, not to mention there's much more you can do with it. The reason I chose to a bot instead of my own account is I like to continue to level without going at a snails pace, and there was no possible way I could catch up to the leaderboard. Heck, soon as I get in range of DJ he'd probably kill me every waking moment with how often he plays (nothing against him for that, it's the reasonable thing to do). Point is, I think having the option of resetting and having a bot really isn't hurting the game. If anything, the super monster high level players making any hope of top spot seem impossible is what kills the game.

The monster high levels some players had and maintained certainly killed it for me. Considering the fact that I rarely play at all I lost all hope in ever being anywhere near a decent level for a while. Now though I'm at that spot where I need to chose to bot or not to bot. I certainly don't need to use a bot anymore, there are bots aplenty around now, but it is nice that I have the choice now. Those that needed the bots had them available when they were not really a choice as much as a necessity.

I'm not sure if the OP was that bots need to be removed because that's all we are killing instead of eachother... or if they need to be removed because people are only training the bots lvs....
if it's the first one it is still very much needed because when you get up into the higher lvs there are far fewer people you can attack and way way less that you can kill... for the 2nd one I think a better option would be to make it so that each time you reset the lv req to reset AND give lvs to the bot goes up by like 25 lvs or perhaps a multiplier, this would discourage training only the bot and doing it super super quick while still giving the option to reset and start over if you want (like edd did)
