Does everything fit in the slots where you didn't have to force it?

Computer parts are designed such that they won't fit in the wrong way. Just make sure the little triangle on the CPU matches up with the one on the board, and that it has a good connection with the heatsink. I bought a new heatsink once that didn't even touch the processor -.- worthless.

Now on the RAM, I can't tell how you've got it setup, but with dual-channel you want to try and keep identical sticks (same speed/size) in each channels (which is why you by in packs of 2 or 4). If you only have 2 sticks, make sure they are both in the first channel, looks like yellow would be the one.

For the USB thing, maybe this'll help:

lol so now i need an adapter on the adapter?

all im doing is moving things from 1 case to another so that was the easy bit now im confused by the wires everything ive done so far fits correctly but idk if it actually needs to be there for ex theres 2 cables coming from that big bit that plugs into the motherboard

That should be the adapter the case came with, the small end will fit on the motherboard, the large end hooks up to the case's USB leads.

except that the adapter doesnt fit because it changes from an ss usb plug to the usb 3.0 and the motherboard doesnt have slots that fit either one

There should be a diagram in the manual if you still have it.

And I'm really confused about the USB situation o.O

glad to see you got most of it working. usually pc's are pretty easy to assemble... bit eaiser when all parts are new (and whoever bought them knows what's buying) cause then everything fits right.
