I was doing a slayer task with my friend last night, and he got a hard clue scroll, but didn't want to do it ... he said he was going to drop it on the floor but i told him to keep it & i'll help him do the clues...

I'm just wondering, if you drop a clue scroll on the floor, will it show up for other players to find?
I was walking around edgeville the other day and i saw one on the floor, but i'm unsure if it's what someone had dropped, or if it was just there from a monster drop that had never been picked up?

It was a medium clue scroll, and the only NPC's that were around were the level 22? Guards :/

Clue scrolls are only visible to the player who kills the monster, if you ever see a clue scroll on the floor you have dealt the most damage to the monster that dropped it.

Strange, i'd literally just teleported to edgeville and was running to the bank when i noticed the clue scroll on the floor, definately hadn't attacked anything :S

It could have just been a noted item that looked similar to a clue scroll.

medium clues are dropped by level 22 guards

Clue Scrolls are only seeable to those who have killed the monster. Are you sure you didn't have a clue scroll, and dropped it on accident?
