Anagogic Orts?

On the count of me not being around on Runescape when these came out, it has caused me to be quite confused, what exactly are they and what do i do with them? I know it has something to do with Clan Chats, but other than that, im lost. Thanks in advanced :)

I'm not really too sure as i'm quite new to runescape myself, but i think the anagogic orts are used as food for the clan avatars (if you've seen them pokemon looking things following people around :P and you can use the orts with them to heal some of your HP.

I just save it up in the bank............ for some reason unknown to myself ^_^

Anagogic orts are only dropped by monsters and by skilling when the person receiving them is in a clan. You can pay 300 anagogic orts to an avatar of your clan to be able to enjoy the buffs (bonusses) from the creature.

it's not that i'm new to Runescape :P been playing for 8 years on and off, I just was one of my various off times when they introduced this new Clan system.

but thanks fellas, I knew it had something to do with clan avatars. I understand pretty well now. Appreciate it!
