Hi,

Wasn't sure where to post this , so apologies if it's in the wrong section.

I'm still relatively new to runescape and looking for some new adventures to undertake to keep the game interesting! I've been looking at the god wars dungeon on Wiki and would like to go there for some training ...

I'll be doing the Death Plateau & Troll Stronghold quest's later on so that i'm actually able to make it to the godwars, and will get 70 Str before i do.

Anyways, what my questions are:

1. I want to fight the Saradomin body guards... Starlight, Growler & Bree... But i'm just wondering, when i'm fighting one of them, will the other two attack me at the same time?

2. Do i have to kill 40 Saradomin followers before i can fight the body guards? Or is that just for the bosses?

3. My stats are: 55 Att, 62 Str, 46 Def, 68 Range, 46 Prayer.... Would i struggle fighting the body guards?

I've read the whole section of the godwars guide on runehq now, and the part for the relevant boss room that i would like to go in, but it still doesn't help with my origional question.

It doesn't say whether the body guards will attack you at the same time. Is it possible to fight just one of them??
(i'm not even contemplating actually fighting the boss).

I'll be wearing a mix of the Bandos/Armadyl/Zamorak/Saradomin Blessed D'hides so i should be fine to get the required amount of kills to enter the bosses room, & will also be carring 5/6 Prayer potions, with food.. so i imagine that i would be able to survive quite well in the dungeon (if i can fight one of the body guards at a time).

The boss and all three guards will attack you once you enter the boss room, you also do need to have 40 Saradomin KC to get into the boss room. I suggest you get 85+ Melee stats before you start soloing GWD.

4) If you've been watching those videos where the boss gets walked, and people kill minions because they have a higher drop rate, then I'm sad to tell you that this method has been nerfed. It no longer works as efficiently. Technically, it works, but it is now better to kill the boss as you would normally have done before the update.

Awww ok, should've thought as much.

I hadn't been watching any videos, just researching characters to fight on the wiki Thought it seemed abit good to be true that i could go and solo one of body guards

Thanks for the help guys! Any suggestions for monsters that i'd be able to fight with semi-decent drops?

yes all 3 body gaurds will attack you and the boss will as well.
yes you have to kill 40 followers before you can enter the boss room
yes you will have a hard time and prob die very quickly.
