Welcome to Gregville everyone! Unfortunately for you townies, there are some mafia members amongst you. It is your job to find out who they are and kill them all before their numbers are greater than or equal to yours.

Days will last 48 hours and nights will be 24 hours.

Roles:

Civilian - Standard townie. Nothing special about them. They win when all mafia members have been killed.

Mafia - The townies' enemies! Their objective is to kill as many of the townies as possible without being discovered. They win when the number of townies alive is either equal to or less than their numbers.

Detective - Can investigate someone during the night phase. They win when all mafia members have been killed.

Doctor - Can protect someone during the night phase. They win when all mafia members have been killed.

Godfather - A mafia member who, when investigated, will show up as a townie. They win when the number of townies alive is either equal to or less than their numbers.

Police - Have no special abilities, but they know who each other are, so they know they they are all innocent. They win when all mafia members have been killed.

small question about the police: if the detective investigate them, does he/she know if they are police or not?

Hmm... I have to think about that police thing. It could give us townies a huge advantage.
(Example: detective cleans one of them. That one cleans the others = safe townie majority)

I think the detective should stay undercover until he/she has found at least one mafia or 3 townies.

Looking through the mafia 12 messages, I would guess that there are 3-4 mafia+godfather. This depends on whether Greg does 1/4 for the mafia.

Yes, they'll come back as police.

I've never played with police, so it'll be interesting to see how this pans out.
